Electric Golf Cart
What started as a stock Club Car with a lead-acid pack and a 3HP motor is now a custom electric beast. I swapped the guts for an 11HP motor that delivers serious kick, paired with a 100AH 16S LFP battery pack I built from scratch. The pack’s split into two modules flanking the central cables, wired with a BMS and a flush-mount XT90 connector—charge it up or pull power for anything. I added USB-C PD ports to the dash for modern flair and cooked up a DC/DC circuit to drop the pack’s 48V to 24V, feeding an Ecoflow River 2 Pro for 120V AC on the go. Future plans? Brighter headlights, a smoother motor controller, and silicone-potting the battery terminals for weatherproofing and safety.
